McMullen County Indigent Health Care
Chapter 61, Health and Safety Code, passed by the Texas Legislature, is intended to ensure that needy Texas residents, who do not qualify for other state or federal health care assistance programs, receive health care services through the County Indigent Health Care Program (CIHCP). McMullen County follows the Federal Poverty Guideline (FPG) of 21% monthly net income to determine eligibility.
Applications are available in the Judge’s Office if you feel you qualify for this service. Please see the below Income Standards:
