Live Oak County Child Welfare, Inc. - Sunshine Room
Purpose:
The mission of the Live Oak County Child Welfare, Inc. is to provide a large support system for the children
of Live Oak and McMullen counties, whose lives have been adversely affected by
poverty, neglect, abuse, or severe family problems, in order for them to become
happy and healthy, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

The Sunshine Room:
- Provides emergency assistance of rent, utilities, and groceries for families.
- Provides heaters in the winter and fans in the summer for families.
- Provides basic furniture, including beds and linens for families.
- Provides 2 sets of clothing for children in need.
A few of the Special Projects scheduled include:
- Winter Coat Drive
- Back To School Packs
- Easter Baskets
- Child Car Seat inspection and training
